1st Training Session Back

Before Training Session and Match

  • On the day of training or match, Parents to check player’s health status by re‐confirming the GAA Return to Play health questionnaire (online, 1 min)
  • Parents to send photo of status of declaration showing Submitted for that date to Team Covid Supervisor

Attending a training Session or Match

  • Player is dropped to venue by parent (max 5 mins before start time)
  • The driver must either stay in the vehicle or leave the grounds and return at the appointed collection time.
  • Player uses hand sanitiser at gate (Point A) before entering pitches -See picture below
  • Team Covid Supervisor checks off that player’s health status has been confirmed by parent, and records session attendance (Point B See picture below )
  • Only after player is passed by Team Covid Supervisor can player join session and parent may leave (if not on rota to stay for session)
  • If player is not passed for play by Team Covid Supervisor player returns home with parent
  • Players to arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to session commencing and be collected immediately after training.
  • Players must not physically greet each other at any stage.
  • Players should arrive togged ready to play as there will be no access to changing rooms.
  • Parents/Guardians of Players with specific medical conditions can remain in car park in case of emergency, providing they adhere to all Guidelines in place in that phase.
  • All children should have their own equipment and must NEVER share that with anyone else. These items include water bottles, clothing, sun cream etc

After a training Session or Match

  • Parents wait in car
  • Players are released from session in 1s or 2s to leave pitch
  • Players sanitise hands on leaving pitch (Point A)
  • Players must leave immediately, and dressing rooms will not be accessible for anyone until notified differently.
  • Players must shower at home and no access will be given to shower facilities in Clubs until guidelines are altered.
  • Parents/Guardians should ensure that all kit and equipment is thoroughly cleaned.
